We were fortunate enough to contract Gordon and Tom for the restoration of our bath stone bay windows, which were unearthed during our property restoration, after being hidden behind paints for many years. Summit Stonemasons were a pleasure to work with on the conservation of the Isaac Watts statue in Southampton. Tom and Gordon applied the necessary skills, care and attention needed to repair this much loved, listed monument in a very professional way. All the work was completed in good time for the 350th anniversary of Isaac Watts’ birth in 2024. Their work is of a high standard and the replacement fingers carved in a matching marble have been admired and commented on by many interested local residents.

With over 50 years of combined experience in all aspects of stonemasonry and with involvement in numerous prestigious projects in the UK and North America, Gordon Utting and Tom Francis have come together to create Summit Stonemasons Ltd. Summit Stonemasons is an independent stonemasonry company based on the edge of the New Forest covering projects across the South of England. We specialise in bespoke, traditional craftsmanship and work on a wide range of projects, from creating bespoke pieces for private residences to restoration, repair and conservation of larger scale buildings and statues.
